Post-Stroke Recovery

Targeted physiotherapy and occupational therapy to regain movement and independence after stroke.

About This Service

A stroke can happen suddenly and rob you of abilities you took for granted. Early, intensive rehabilitation is the single most important factor in maximising recovery. Our Post-Stroke Recovery programme begins as soon as you are medically stable and continues through all phases—acute, sub-acute, and chronic.

Our stroke specialists focus on relearning daily activities such as walking, dressing, speaking, and fine motor skills. We use mirror therapy, constraint-induced movement therapy, balance retraining, and cognitive rehabilitation to address the wide range of deficits that stroke can cause.

Family education is a cornerstone of our programme. We train caregivers in safe transfer techniques, positioning, and home exercise routines so that rehabilitation continues 24 hours a day.

Chronic Phase (3+ months): Intensive task-specific training, fitness conditioning, and optimising functional independence for the long term.
